Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known role was in the role of Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant at Sante Fe New Mexico. The family moved to Ohio, where she continued her interest in performing on theatre. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for many years prior to trying out for film and TV parts. Anna was chosen to play Arden on Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. Anna continued to be a guest star in a handful of TV series and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue up to the end of 1990's, when she was cast in a recurring role as Jean Ward in The Practice. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. Skyler was her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully was another of her roles. Gunn has also appeared on stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn was in the role of Numbered Days, which is a four-part audio show that premiered that will air in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on the marriage he shares with Skyler is mirrored in the television show.
